Benefit Planned for Teens Struck by Lightning in Southern Utah

On Tuesday October 5th, Snow Canyon High School students Dane Zdunich and Alex Lambson were struck by lightning at the end of the school day. Both boys stopped breathing. Because of the fast actions of students, school employees, medical response teams and physicians, both boys were stabilized at Dixie Regional Medical Center and then life-flighted to the Burn Center in Las Vegas. This benefit concert will raise funds to help pay for medical expenses for Dane and Alex and their long recovery.
Students from Snow Canyon, Dixie, Pine View, Desert Hills and Tuacahn High Schools will be performing, along with students from Dixie College. The evening will also include professional entertainers, including some from Tuacahn's summer productions.

Tuacahn Helps Raise Funds for Local Teens Struck by Lightning

Last night, Tuacahn Amphitheatre joined in on fundraising efforts for two local teens, Christopher “Dane” Zdunich, 16, and Alex Phillip Lambson, 17, who were struck by lightning last Tuesday at Snow Canyon High School and life flighted to a hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada.  One of the teens has a sister who attends Tuacahn High School.

Last night an announcement was made to the audience at TARZAN, that donations were being taken and all donations would be given directly to the families. Donations were collected in boxes after the show. They raised a total of $1,138.50. A check will be issued in the amount of $569.25 for both families.
If you would like to make a donation to help these families, please check with local Zion's Banks as we have heard there is a fund set up there.

Our prayers and best wishes are with Dane and Alex and their families.
